DENTAL CHECK ON BODY
Police are close to identifying the decomposing body of a teenage girl found in a creek at Port Gawler, 45 km north of Adelaide, at the weekend. Late yesterday Major Crime investigators were conducting dental checks they thought would confirm the girls identity. It is believed the girl, who was slightly built and had fair hair, was a South Australian. Police have received a number of calls from the public after pieces of the dead girls jewellery, including a distinctive purple crystal pendant, were released publicly on Sunday. The body clad in a floral top, underwear and a single sock, was found by a police officer patrolling Port Gawler Rd. The Cause of death has not yet been revealed.
